When the new term begins, everything goes smoothly until one night two teachers stumble upon the dead body of the sports mistress. The school is thrown into chaos when another body turns up. But schoolgirl Julia Upjohn knows something. Something that turns her into the next target.
The scenes in this book are well set and quite good for those who love stories set in an academic setting. There's a mild racial element scattered in the novel through dialogue. There was also a section in which one of the characters says that she has a ‘big pussy installed’ in her unwell mother’s house to care for her whenever she is not there. I was a little disappointed. Apart from it, the story is a definite page-turner with intriguing characters and an astounding climax that make everyone say, "Aha! I didn't see that one coming!".
