In the spin-off of the fairytale Beauty and Beast, Jaya Rao must break the beast's heart to retaliate and avenge her family. Because for Princess Jaya Rao, her family is everything and nothing could surpass its priority. Even her own happiness. But will the beast be tamed? Or Jaya will end up at the beast's mercy?
The rivalry between the Emerson and the Rao families began way back during India's independence. When Jaya's sister gets dragged into the family feud, Jaya uses the opportunity awaiting at St. Rosetta an elite school to execute her revenge. To her surprise, instead of a pompous, wicked beast, she faces a quiet, misanthropic lone wolf. As she grows close to Emerson, she learns the truth about the curse inflicted upon Emerson's family by hers, her ruby pendant and the true self of Grey Emerson.
When the curse begins to strengthen, Jaya and Grey must navigate through love, loyalty, friendship and power play to find if they can write their own happy ending.
Despite the stereotypical characters, "Of Curses and Kisses" will keep you under its spell with its sweet, engaging yet thoughtful themes.
