Don't read these books

Don't read these books, if you're a beginner. I know this may sound silly, but it is important to abide by the following tips if you are thinking of becoming a lifetime reader. Reading is simple but maintaining the habit without losing interest and having fun in it is a risky business.

No classics

This is important. A book is categorized as a classic because of its ability to last for a very long period of time i.e, for its timelessness and for its first finest quality. They are complex and rich with language. Because of these reasons, a beginner may find it difficult to understand the essence of the story, what's going on, and the vocabulary in it. Unless you understand what's the story is about, you won't enjoy the book. Hence it is important that you start reading classics after you actually liked reading books.

Stop reading

Stop reading a book, if you don't like it. It is completely okay to leave a book halfway during early terms. If you try to push your disinterest to finish the book, you may end up not reading books at all. Try to start with genres you actually like. For instance, some people love thrillers, some don't. Try to stick with your favorites at first. Once you start reading consistently, you can start experimenting with other genres.

Choose your books carefully

Of course, you're going to choose your books! So why mention it? Because it matters what you choose. It is important to remember that everyone is unique and everyone's taste and preference varies. Just because a book is popular and hyped so much, it doesn't mean you will like it. For example, Twilight is a popular series and there are some crazy about it. At the same time, there are some bookworms who find it absurd and thoughtless. You can't read a book for the sake of others. Choose wisely!

Read appropriate books

This is the most significant of all. Imagine if an eleven-year-old reads a dark and gruesome thriller which talks about kidnapping, abuse, and so on. Cringy! Not so good. good at all. It would scar him/her for a lifetime and be the cause of something bad. Our brain won't be able to take things that aren't fitting for a particular age. Apart from this, the use of advanced vocabulary makes it harder to understand the story. Ergo it is important to read books appropriate for your age.

That's all! Happy reading fellas!
