Reading ONLY matters

Updated: Jun 4, 2021

"If you only read the books that everyone else is reading, you can only think what everyone else is thinking."

Haruki Murakami

Welcome!

I am happy to have you in the world of books. You have made the right choice. Reading helps us grow emotionally, psychologically and physically (you start wearing specs, LOL). I could list out the benefits like strengthens brain efficiency, increases empathy blah, blah. I don't want to bore you with details which you already know and could easily find on google ;).

Being a newbie will bring out a lot of feelings like excitement, scared and especially the feeling of not fitting in. Even in the world of reading and books. Beginners have the feeling of being left out in books when others have read SO MUCH. Especially when it comes to classics. You have the urge to somehow fill that gap in a short time but end up stop reading afterwards. Simply because you would be exhausted from searching books and seeing if you could buy them or couldn't find the book you want to read. I know!

I am somewhat a newbie myself and I have searched for certain bookish things to maintain my habit of reading books. And man it was exhausting.

Here in the Bookist, bunny offers condensed, tried and brilliant recommendations on bookish stuff particularly for new readers and make sure newbies have the best experience in the world of reading without feeling lost. All kinds of readers are welcome too!

If you like Bunny's content, hang on to the bunny's burrow and share your reading journey with the bunny.

Remember; Reading only matters.
